Marcus Weaver, a sophomore at Wisconsin-Eau Claire, won the men's javelin throw with a third-round effort of 211-3 (64.38m) at the 112th Drake Relays Presented by Xtream and Powered by Mediacom and Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa. Weaver, the reigning NCAA Division 3 javelin and decathlon champion, became the first Division 3 competitor to win the javelin crown at Drake Relays since 1957.
